In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana alongside several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Newest Free Story Update
